Your role:
As a member of the Web Team Global Communications, you'll play a crucial role in developing and aligning our corporate website, merckgroup.com, with the company's brand and strategy. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting website issues, improving customer journeys, and coordinating cross-functional teams.Additionally, you'll be expected to detect modern website trends, implement digital transformation, execute communication campaigns, and create data reports. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Content Marketing, you'll ensure the website's compliance with laws and regulations and respond to security breaches.
Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information is also part of your responsibility.
You will create and enhance customer journeys for our persona's on the website that facilitate the achievement of Web KPIs using insights from quantitative and qualitative behavioural data.
As Senior Manager Web you will implement storytelling and upgrade user journeys across all websites. Additionally you coordinate cross-functional teams, drive change communications, and stay open to new digital transformation fields like AI. You execute digital campaigns and generate insightful data reports.
Who you are:
- Masters degree in Business, Marketing, business informatics or related field
- 5-7 years of professional experience incl. at least 3+ years experience in a B2B environment
- 3-5 years of work experience as a website manager
- Knowledge in strategic web development
- Experience in digital storytelling and global content creation that is used in multiple markets and languages.
- Experience in increasing traffic and user satisfaction
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills which also includes a KPI oriented mindeset
- Experience in stakeholder management and complex matrix organizations
- Proven expertise in online technologies and systems (campaign tracking, google analytics, SEA, SEO, CMS governance & processes, plus marketing automation tools)
- Proven track in relaunching websites
- Crisis communications experience is a plus
- Language: English, German is a plus
