Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for renewable energy?

Our client is a global IPP in renewable energy sector, specialising in large-scale Solar PV projects across Europe. The company have a pipeline of 3GW across Europe in the coming years.

They are looking for an experienced Solar PV Design Engineer to join their dynamic team, working on cutting-edge solar power projects across Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive single-line diagrams for High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) systems.
• Design and configure HV, MV, and LV systems in compliance with both local and international standards.
• Perform in-depth technical analyses, including short-circuit assessments, load flow studies, and earthing calculations.
• Conduct protection and coordination studies for relay systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Calculate and provide detailed reports on HV, LV, and AC/DC systems, including voltage drop and power loss analysis.
• Ensure proper selection and specification of components, cables, transformers, and other essential equipment.

Your Profile:

• Fluent English & German.
• Based in Northern Germany
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design, within renewable energy
• Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD.
• Knowledge of SCADA
• A team player with excellent organisational skills
