Responsibilities:
As an MMIC Design Engineer, you will join the Keysight Technology Organization, where our mission is to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions that set the industry standard. Collaborating within a diverse and visionary team, you will design the next generation of high-frequency, cutting-edge components powering Keysight’s groundbreaking measurement instruments.
Key Responsibilities- MMIC Design: Develop and validate millimeter-wave ICs (up to >100GHz) for future Keysight instrumentation. You will leverage both internal semiconductor technologies and global foundry processes to produce state-of-the-art designs that empower Keysight’s customers in next-gen wireless communications.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with internal teams to define performance parameters, match requirements to semiconductor processes, and deliver designs that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Hands-on Development: Utilize industry-leading tools and measurement equipment to execute, characterize, and document high-performance IC designs.
- Diverse Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment that fosters growth, learning, and collective success.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on mm-wave IC design.
- Proven experience in mm-wave IC design (30GHz+) in advanced semiconductor technologies, including design, layout, verification, and measurement validation.
- Hands-on expertise with at least one high-frequency circuit type (e.g., mixers, amplifiers, multipliers).
- Familiarity with industry-standard design tools (e.g., ADS, Momentum, EMPro, SystemVue).
- Strong teamwork and documentation skills to effectively communicate complex design results.
- Knowledge in device modeling, thermal design, or IC packaging.
- Experience with wafer probe calibration, thin film, and PCB design.
- Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced, cross-functional project teams.
- A proactive approach to meeting ambitious product development timelines and quality standards.
