Key responsibilities / You will get to:

• Work on project assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager or team member, being mindful of project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting problems, conflict management, and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
• Assist the team in analyzing customer needs and developing creative concepts and concrete measures for implementation
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
• Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team events
• Basic understanding of sustainability practices, standards, and reporting frameworks
• Support the sustainability due diligence process with profound analysis and preparation sustainability assessment and other decision-making documents.
• Drive selected sustainability projects depending on background and expertise.
• Align and collaborate with internal functions in the OEs, communication, risk management and underwriting.
• Regularly screen for new and emerging sustainability megatrends and identify associated impacts and opportunities for the Allianz business.
• Support the further development and application of sustainability approach for P/C underwriting.
• Initiate and conduct research on relevant sustainability issues.

Key requirements/What we hope you bring:

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Initial experience in operational business or management consulting (such as a previous internship or working student position)
• You have a technical degree, e.g. environmental engineering, natural sciences. Sustainability-related programs are from advantage.
• First experience in the area of sustainability
• You are comfortable working both in a team and independently, in an international and dynamic environment
• With excellent communication and presentation skills, you are proactive and able to drive topics forward
• Data-driven and innovation minded with high analytical and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• An affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking
• Your desire to make a difference and your willingness to be coached
• Your enthusiasm for working in a diverse and international team
• Your excellent command of English that you will use when preparing and delivering presentations and reports
• Your previously acquired skills in PowerPoint and Excel (can perform complex functions)
• Your curiosity for or knowledge of insurance and financial services and project management tools and techniques
