Medverse builds the first virtual reality high-fidelity education center in the EU, which is board-certified and approved by medical associations, enabling healthcare professionals to experience the most realistic & immersive training possible.
Our SaaS-solution empowers physicians, medical specialists, and other users to learn procedures & workflows, measure learning progress, and establish quality standards.

Aufgaben
Your day-to-day responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the company's product & technology strategy, ensuring it is future-proof, clean, maintainable and aligns with the overall business strategy.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company on matters related to technology, representing the company at industry events, conferences and other public forums.
- Define and implement engineering strategies and procedures that align with our mission and vision.
- Build and manage a high-performing technology team, setting goals, providing mentorship and coaching, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Propagate Agile and DevOps cultures among management and team members
- Collaborate with CEO, sales, finance and marketing to keep track of the requirements, development budgets and product design.
- Stay current on new technologies and industry trends, and continuously explore opportunities to integrate them into the company's products and services, especially in the areas of SaaS, AI, Augmented Reality, and IoT.
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
Qualifikation
Your qualifications- Proven experience as a CPO/CTO or senior technology leader in a start-up or other fast-paced environment
- Passion for technology and a strong desire to stay current with new developments in the field
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Proven ability to manage and inspire agile teams.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles
- Solid understanding of VR technology and immersive technology trends
- Strong expertise in VR (and not only) development tools and languages like Unity and C#.
- Fluency German and English, other languages are a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience in other technologies and industries, like web development, cloud computing, etc.
