Ranking team is part of CHECK24's AI Forge GmbH - a dynamic environment where AI solutions for all products within the CHECK24 universe are developed and which serves as the nucleus for innovation in machine learning services. Our Ranking team is focusing on enabling all products of CHECK24 to create an optimal decision situation for the user using a broad toolbox of ranking & recommendations technics.

Your responsibilities- Work as a member of a central data science team responsible for developing cutting edge machine learning algorithms and technologies in the area of recommender systems tailored to different CHECK24 products
- Ensure interpretability and explainability of developed solutions
- Self-responsible implementation of the developed algorithms and models for productive mode, mostly using cloud technologies (AWS)
- Research and experiment with new algorithms and technologies across data science to improve the technical capabilities of the team
- Completed studies (at least Master's degree) in mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
- Hands-on experience in developing machine learning services and strong interest to transfer your current ML skills into developing expertise in ranking or recommender systems
- Strong algorithmic thinking coupled with problem solving skills through leveraging statistics and machine learning
- Solid programming experience with Python and confident handling the main libraries/frameworks for machine learning (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, Tensorflow)
- Enthusiasm for designing and bringing machine learning services into production by using software engineering skills and cloud services (AWS)
