Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Composites

Employment Type: Contract – 12 Months (Conversion Possible)

Role Overview

You will work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, requiring occasional travel (up to 20%).

• Develop, establish, and refine material control methods in composite manufacturing.
• Design and manage test sample geometry for composite materials.
• Work with advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners, traveling to supplier sites (up to 20% of the time).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for composite manufacturing.
• Continuously optimize manufacturing processes to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and improve product quality.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in composite manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material control, and test sample design.
• Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time to supplier sites.
• Full working rights in Germany.
• Fluency in English (C1 level or higher).
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

• Familiarity with the aerospace industry or advanced manufacturing environments is a plus.
• German language skills are a bonus, but not required.
