Senior Manager New Business Development Healthcare

Huhtamaki's Flexible packaging segment is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, New Business Development (NBD) to join our Healthcare division.

The Senior Manager, NBD will look after our large and key accounts in the “Pharma” sector in the context of building up new business with new and innovative products. This position is key to the expansion and growth of Huhtamaki's strategically important “Healthcare” division.

This successful candidate can be based anywhere in Europe where Huhtamaki have a legal entity, locations include: Germany, Italy, UK, France, Spain, Poland, Netherlands and Finland.

Responsibilities:

  • Look after individual defined strategic key customers, including budget responsibility, with the aim of significantly increasing sales through new projects.
  • Manage and control profit margins as well as conducting contract and negotiation talks.
  • Work closely with Huhtamaki's R&D and marketing department, focusing on the market for prescription medicines, OTC, dietary supplements and specific medical devices with our new products.
  • Conduct market research
  • Analyse product performance and client feedback to generate new product ideas and identify change needs.
  • Provides expert advice on assigned products.
  • Lead sales plans, pipeline, activities, and campaigns for new blueloop products.

Experience, Skills & Education Required:

  • You have a degree in business administration or technical studies with a profound commercial understanding or comparable training and further education.
  • The ideal candidate for this position will have proven sales experience, preferably in the field of pharmaceutical flexible packaging in the area of prescription medicines, as well as OTC, dietary supplements and specific medical devices.
  • You are a dynamic sales personality with high customer-oriented motivation, conceptual thinking, technical understanding as well as creative and innovative skills.
  • You have an advanced knowledge of English and ideally a second foreign language.
  • You are a team player, have experience in working with modern information technologies and are willing to travel frequently.
  • You have intercultural awareness, good interpersonal skills and excellent presentation skills combined with a confident and assertive manner.
