Scope of Work:
Role: End User Computing (EUC) L1 Support
Preferred Languages: English, German
Platform: Client Windows desktop/end-user technologies, collaboration tools, mobile technologies, printing services, video conferencing, network/remote access.This role works closely with the service desk to address end-user break/fix and other support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level support for desktop systems, printers, and operating systems issues.
- Consult and guide users on hardware and software queries.
- Collaborate with IT Services, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure teams.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment and infrastructure.
- Run proactive diagnostic tests to identify and resolve system issues.
- Support both Windows and OS-X platforms.
- Provide expertise in MS Office (Windows and Mac).
- Utilize remote support technologies like Microsoft Remote Desktop, Apple Remote Desktop, and VNC.
- Remove viruses and spyware from Windows systems using relevant tools.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, including performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Respond to service tickets, emails, phone calls, and dispatched requests.
- Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution within SLA agreements.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, Macs, peripherals (printers, scanners), and other devices like i Phones, i Pads, Mac Books, and laptops.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in troubleshooting both Windows and OS-X platforms.
- Strong experience with remote support tools.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Windows and Mac).
- Expertise in virus/spyware removal tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
