RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a passionate and motivated person? Then join our unit Business Reporting I as a Senior Specialist Automation Engineer.
  • You structure and evaluate functional requirements and as-is processes with relevant partners in one dedicated subject area: ICTP of Business Reporting.
  • You support experts, service teams and the automation team in process redesign and planning, consulting, implementing new IT solutions to support the business and ICTP teams.
  • Shape IT architecture and take part in projects working within the existing application landscape and introduce new market trends.
  • Be a pro-active team player, build your own project teams to implement more complex IT solutions.
  • Besides that, you connect to various communities within but not limited to the ICTP area and people involved in the End-to-End process (business, other IT teams) and actively drive cultural change.
  • Actively share learnings, best practices and create guidelines to increase the added value for all parties involved.
  • You implement key work packages in digitalization projects, using various technologies/ languages (e.g. Python, MS Power Platform, SQL, PySpark) including testing, being the main contact for the evaluation and technical implementation.
  • Finally, you explore and introduce new technologies, convince partners to adapt them, consult the ICTP team to find the best solution and implement them incl. roll-out and quality management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • completed studies in informatics, business informatics, engineering or a comparable education, first professional experience in the field of automation and process improvement is an advantage
  • knowledge of at least one common programming language such as Python, VBA, Java is a prerequisite, ideally you have experience in Microsoft Power Platform Tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI)
  • professional experience in data analytics or data engineering is a strong plus
  • in addition to your strong affinity for numbers, you have acquired strong analytical skills in your studies, e.g. in the area of process analysis or statistics
  • you are enthusiastic about new technologies and enjoy developing joint solutions with colleagues and business partners
  • independent way of working and a high level of commitment without losing sight of our common goals
