Job Description
Your Role:

As a Market Intelligence Manager, you are responsible for providing comprehensive market information, competitive and customer analyses, as well as strategic insights for the Automotive / Off-Highway (OHI) Aftermarket in Europe. In close collaboration with various internal departments and external partners, it is your task to gather, evaluate, and deliver well-founded insights aimed at optimizing the aftermarket business in Europe to the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization and execution of comprehensive market studies and analyses in the Automotive / Off-Highway & Industry Aftermarket in Europe, including the identification of trends, opportunities, risks, and customer needs.
  • Comprehensive assessment of market potential in the Automotive / Off-Highway & Industry Aftermarket to identify growth opportunities.
  • Analysis of market and customer needs, as well as the behavior and decision-making criteria of target groups for targeted marketing and sales strategies.
  • Evaluation and interpretation of data to generate business-relevant market information and providing these for the derivation of strategies and decisions.
  • Competitive analyses of product portfolios, sales channels, market shares, and marketing strategies.
  • Selection and evaluation of data providers, contract negotiations, as well as management and further processing of the data.
  • Responsibility for systematic data collection from various sources, coordination of data collection and analysis in close collaboration with industry partners, and ensuring data quality.
  • Preparation of regular reports, presentations, and dashboards, as well as their presentation to relevant stakeholders.
Your Profile
  • Education: Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in market analysis, competitive research, or market research, preferably in the aftermarket sector or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge in the use of market research tools, databases, and statistical analysis methods.
  • Experience in interpreting customer and market needs to develop products and strategies.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Personality:
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Outstanding communication skills to present complex information clearly and translate it into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Careful, reliable, and structured approach to work.
