Hardware Developer (working student - on site) - Join the Revolution in Life-Science Robotics at goodbot
Are you passionate about mechanical engineering, robotics and eager to contribute to the future of life-science research? Do you have experience in or want to learn more about hardware development, incorporating peripheral devices such as cameras, sensors, and motors?
Then join our robotics startup in Freiburg, Germany, and become part of our mission to advance biomedical research with our cutting-edge technology.
Pipetting is a crucial yet repetitive task in laboratories, involving the transfer of precise volumes of liquid for various research purposes. Despite its importance, pipetting is still performed manually in the majority of research labs. As a result, human error can lead to false outcomes, wasted consumables, and increased cost.
Our smart robotic solution, goodbot, addresses these challenges by automating pipetting tasks.
As a Hardware Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our groundbreaking product. Working independently and as part of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with other departments, designing, developing, and testing hardware components for goodbot.
Apart from this, you will have the opportunity to learn about robotics, mechanical engineering, 3D printing, and life sciences in general.
This position is based in Freiburg (Germany) and is not remote. We offer flexible working hours to accommodate your study schedule.
