Head of Retail Expansion - Italy (m/f/d)

Help us in the Head of Retail Expansion role to make the Italian supermarket shelves a little more colorful, win new retail partners, and significantly drive KoRo's expansion in national and international retail.

• Conception and implementation of a holistic expansion and growth strategy for the Italian market
• Carrying out strategic market analyses in order to gain relevant insights and derive concrete action measures from them.
• Management and development of a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary & digital retail.
• Working closely with the Sales Leadership Team and the Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
• Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
• Monitoring and controlling the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
• Regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.

• You have at least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture
• You have a degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
• You speak excellent English and got relevant additional language skills. German language skills are a plus.
• You have experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
• You have in-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
• You love your key figures and are completely absorbed in your KPIs and confident presentation skills at all hierarchical levels are part of your everyday life.
• You have strong negotiating skills, are committed, have good communication skills, and you are enthusiastic about the food market.
• You have a proactive and goal-oriented way of working as well as the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
• You have a professional appearance and "drive" as well as a hands-on mentality.
