• Within the protection department you will work for the portfolio elements arc-suppression coil and voltage control, as well as for some specific protection applications. The first focus will be on arc-suppression coil control.
• The conception, planning, execution, and controlling of market introduction measures for new portfolio elements, like webinars, trainings, demos, technical concepts, application descriptions, and blueprints, will fall under your responsibility.
• You consult, train and support our regions in such a way that they can do their jobs as sales, technical sales and local promoters in an optimal way.
• Additionally, you assist customers in understanding and implementing protection and automation for new and existing products. Serve as a trusted partner with profound expertise to engage in conversations and grasp the new product and solution requirements in collaboration with our customers' technical experts.
• You are responsible for planning and executing expert workshops, webinars, and promotion/training videos for our customers worldwide. Use modern communication channels, platforms and tools to scale up the information transport.
• The conception, planning and execution of measures supporting acquisition activities (e.g. branch specific fairs and exhibitions, customer events, presentations, visits, LinkedIn activities) is another task.
• You gather information about customers, markets, competitors with their corresponding products.
• You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business potentials. In addition, you provide suggestions to product lifecycle management for the implementation of new functions and products.
• You create application notes for our products and solutions.
• You elaborate and present papers for branch specific magazines, fairs, customer events.
• Not only that, but you will be in close contact to the product lifecycle managers and align activities with them.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar education.
• You have several years of experience in the protection industry, including roles as an application or commissioning engineer.
• Furthermore, you already have experience with arc-suppression coil control applications, and you are familiar with arc-suppression coil grounded networks and ground faults in such networks.
• Knowledge of the SIPROTEC 5 platform is another plus point.
• You have the skills to understand control and protection applications and their function methods and algorithms in depth.
• You are well versed in conducting presentations and product trainings and have the appropriate didactic knowledge.
• You are flexible to a high extend for business trips based on the requested tasks and activities.
• Not only that, but you are a team player with intercultural competencies.
• You are fluent in English. Basic knowledge of German is important, as a major market for arc-suppression coils are German-speaking countries.
