WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This internship will provide you with a unique place to acquire deep insight on corporate and financial markets. Therefore, it constitutes a gateway for international opportunities. You will join a multi-cultural team with substantial exposure to banking units across all continents and you will work on projects across our German-speaking client base:
- Supporting the Relationship Managers and Product Specialists in creating new business opportunities
- Preparing and delivering client presentations and supporting other coverage initiatives
- Performing financial and strategic business analysis
- Participating in the preparation and execution of transactions for the Banking & Corporate Finance team in close cooperation with product teams including but not limited to Transactional Banking, Debt Financing, Corporate Finance and Markets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Santander policies
- First work experience gained (preferably in activities related to Corporate and Investment Banking) or a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking.
- Degree in Economics, Business Management or Finance preferable.
- Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics)

- Motivated, proactive behaviour, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, team player
- Highly proficient in spoken and written German and English. Spanish optional
- Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards
FURTHER REQUIREMENTS
Our internships last preferably six months. The precise period will be arranged individually. Please attach a copy of your supporting documentation in English and indicate your availability. Applicants who are not available during the specified period will not be considered.
