A Snapshot of Your Day

You work on making Transformation of Industry, one of the four Business Areas of Siemens Energy, future proof and resilient by making it more sustainable. In your role you work closely with the four Independently Managed Businesses (IMBs) and act both as a knowledge hub and an excellent project manager.

You focus on overcoming the reporting fatigue as well as deriving strategic purpose.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Acting as a Project Manager for the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for Transformation of Industry
  • Coordinating CSRD project management and relevant processes related to EU Taxonomy in close collaboration with the Business Controlling team
  • Supporting the Head of Strategy and the TI Sustainability Business Partner in understanding implications of regulation on target setting and sustainability strategy definition
  • Providing input to business steering by translating regulatory requirements into meaningful important metrics
  • Monitoring relevant policy decisions in and outside the EU and ensure to be prepared for the upcoming developments such as the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)
  • Working collaboratively with other Business Areas and Corporate functions to support a coherent implementation of regulatory requirements across Siemens Energy
What You Bring
  • Excellent university degree in business administration, engineering, natural science or public policy (Master, MBA, PhD)
  • At least 3-5 years professional experience in relevant roles, e. g. ESG consulting, policy-related roles in the industry or public sector
  • Deep knowledge of ESG policies and standards (in and outside the EU) as well as energy market trends based on previous roles
  • Understanding of ESG trends in the financial markets as well as technical knowledge of Siemens Energy technologies is an advantage but not a precondition
  • Passion for driving the energy transformation and great teammate
  • Executive presence, ability to prepare and moderate meetings with senior management as well as strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to find compromises in multi-stakeholder decision-making processes
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, dedicated and strong ability to structure complex processes
  • Excellent proficiency in English
