Tech Lead (m/f/d) in München

We are looking for a Tech Lead (m/f/d) in full time (40 hrs./week) to take charge of our new AI Upskilling vertical at one of our location in Germany or remote.

You will be pivotal in leading the technical direction of our platform, collaborating closely with the Managing Director, Product Owner (PO), and User Experience (UX) designer.

Your contributions will directly impact our product-market fit journey.

• Work with the Product Owner (PO) and UX designer to translate product requirements into scalable, robust solution architectures, ensuring that technical solutions align with OKRs and the overall product strategy
• Own the software architecture and full stack development of AI/NLP - enabled services with the support of a dedicated NLP Data Science team members and wider AI community of IU Group
• Implement scalable and cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS
• Explore new technologies and solve complex technical challenges
• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold high coding standards and provide ongoing feedback and guidance to improve coding practices
• Hire and build your team while actively working on product-market fit, act as the primary technical decision-maker within the team, and promote a culture of delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions by developing and implementing best practice guidelines for a multi-tiered microservices architecture
• Stay updated on trends in EdTech, NLP, Machine Learning, and AI to inform decision-making and ensure the team aligns its solutions with the latest advancements and best practices

• Championing the use of AI to enhance software development speed and quality, combined with a passion for building new businesses and solving complex problems with a startup mentality.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture standards and microservices
• Proficiency in Python with knowledge of FastAPI, Django, TypeScript, Node.js, or Vue.js is a plus; high-level understanding of AWS services and concepts
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, REST, RPC, Kafka, and message brokers
• Understanding of functional insights behind epics and user stories (OKRs)
• Ability to build prototypes, MVPs, and final products in a fast-paced environment
