Tasks
You’ll work in the motion control area, a sub team of our Embedded Systems division.
The overall team is currently at 8 Developers and growing but
you’ll work in smaller project squads mainly developing software to support medical devices. Your focus will be on the BE, close to the Hardware.
We think it’s always important to produce quality work, but when you’re working on the software and systems that power life saving medical devices “doing things right” has a whole new meaning.- Full lifecycle software development in the area of device control
- You’ll be involved in planning, design, working on user stories, testing and actively contributing to architectural sessions
- Working within an agile environment and upholding the agile spirit and principals
- Writing documentation
- You’ll work on different projects, some long-term and some short with different clients
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring/supporting less senior colleagues
- Senior/Lead developers will likely have direct contact with the client
- Good standard of German and English
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related specialism
- Competency in working with modern C++ and a good understanding of OOP
- Team oriented
- An interest in or experience working with Simotion/Simatic would be great
- Bonus points for: Knowledge in embedded Linux, QNX, WEC, or another embedded OS and experience in CI/CD or DevOps in general
