About our client
Our client is a Munich-based, family-owned investment holding with a long-term, entrepreneurial approach. They manage a diversified portfolio of companies across the consumer, real-estate, and hospitality sectors. Investments are made at the holding level with a focus on strategic allocation, platform growth, and operational value creation.New opportunities target mid-sized resilient businesses in the DACH region, with international upside. The role offers a high level of responsibility in both portfolio management and new investment activity, providing a varied, dynamic, and long-term oriented opportunity within an entrepreneurial environment.
What the job involves
- Originate, evaluate, and execute new investment opportunities, supporting the end-to-end transaction process
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of portfolio companies, including platform-building initiatives
- Support long-term portfolio management, focusing on value creation and operational improvements
- Two to five years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or real estate (generalist or real estate-focused teams) or senior investment manager with 5+ years of experience
- Excellent commercial judgment and comfort operating close to assets and management teams
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to a long-term role in a flexible, highly entrepreneurial environment
- Fluent in German
