The PositionYour role involves overseeing and assessing different elements of a project, service, or facility systematically. This ensures that the production process meets quality standards effectively. You'll be in charge of developing, implementing, and refining quality system policies and procedures.

This aims to enhance work efficiency impacted by quality and reduce quality costs in alignment with Group and LE objectives.

This role may involve frequent travel to various factories, supplier locations, and stakeholder meetings. The Global Quality Leader should be ready to operate in a dynamic and occasionally challenging environment.
This role requires relocation to our factory in Belecke-Warstein, Germany.
Main responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a global team of quality professionals across multiple locations (direct and indirect)
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the quality team.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment among team members in different regions.
  • Develop and implement a global quality strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and systems related to quality assurance.
  • Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure quality management systems (QMS) are effectively implemented and maintained across all locations.
  • Develop and maintain quality inspection methods for assessing quality all over the production flow (from material incoming inspection to delivery of the finish products and beyond)
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Manage global audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement risk management processes to proactively address potential quality issues.
  • Oversee and sustain internal quality audit programs, evaluating enhancements resulting from audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish a third-party auditing program, leading compliance audits for suppliers, sub-manufacturers, or distributors to uphold incoming material quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage documentation aligning with Quality System guidelines and oversee the handling of customer complaints.
  • Communicate quality performance, challenges, and initiatives to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide timely reports to executive management on quality system performance, non-compliance issues, and recommended actions.
  • Oversee the training and development of the global quality team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Qualifications and requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, specifically electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years in quality management within a relevant industry, particularly in power conversion products.
  • Proven experience managing quality processes on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Nuclear quality standards (like KTA, RCC-E, NQA-1, CSA, ect.) will be highly appreciated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in quality management methodologies and tools like TQM, QMS, EMS, and FMEA processes is required.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes.
  • Preferred capabilities include experience as an external auditor in manufacturing processes and possession of professional certifications, especially a QMS internal auditor certificate.
  • Fluency in German, both written and verbal, is essential.
