We are seeking for a Working Student who will support our skilled innovative Automation Developer and join our Digital Business Process Transformation team.

As a Working Student, your primary responsibility will be to help at design, development and implementation of Automation solutions and using various tools available in our system landscape (RPA; low code platforms, etc.). Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing business operations by improving efficiency, reducing cycle times, and achieving cost savings.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Help to design and develop Automation solutions to automate repetitive tasks, increasing operational efficiency
  • Assist in collaboration with internal business leads to create automation documentation and translation of business process to automation processes
  • Assist in collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize processes suitable for automation
  • Support to design and implement user-friendly interfaces for automation processes to facilitate easy consumption by business users
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand user requirements and incorporate feedback into UI designs
What You Bring
  • Current student actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or related degree
  • Seeking a proactive, driven, and self-motivated individual who is willing to work in the digital business processes area within the energy industry on internal projects
  • Experience in designing intuitive and user-friendly UIs for automation processes is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience in platforms such as Mendix, UiPath, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Automate, Power Apps, Flow, Power , Power BI), or Tableau are preferred
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning is a plus

About the Team

This role will support the Digital Business Process Transformation department in our Gas Services Central division which is responsible for the manufacturing, execution and service lifecycle management of large power generation equipment for Siemens Energy.

Our global and diverse team comprises of many senior industry experts who are skilled at driving digital projects and working with our execution groups on their internal business processes. This includes the use of advanced digital tools including AI to simplify our complex processes.
