Bachelor-s and Master-s degree program in Computer Engineering

We are looking for a qualified and team-oriented individual to cover the following fields of expertise

by holding lectures and carrying out applied research in our study programme of Computer Engineering
  • Realization and operation of homogeneous and heterogeneous computer architectures and computer systems
  • Architecture of microprocessors and special purpose processors (e.g. for signal processing and machine learning)
  • Programming in C and C++ as well as interface and driver programming

Your tasks

Holding lectures in the above-mentioned subject areas and in foundation courses in our department
Acquisition and implementation of industry or third-party funded research projects

Active participation in the academic self-governance of the faculty and the university

Your profile

Completed university degree in the field of computer engineering or a related field of study and fulfillment of the recruitment requirements according to §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act
Profound knowledge and practical experience - preferably acquired in industry - in the above-mentioned key areas
Ability and willingness to teach courses in German and ideally also in English
Also desired are
Interest in dealing with students and passing on knowledge
Willingness to participate in development of the faculty research profile and to actively acquire and carry out research projects

Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work together on a wide range of topics within the faculty
