Tasks
We actively seek out exceptional Legal Engineer & Success Manager with passion for people and financial markets, sharing our mission to change the world of investments.
You will be accompanying renowned financial institutions in all project phases of fundraising and managing funds and their investors. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams at the interface between law, technology and sales.
You will be responsible for the implementation of legal requirements in our platform.
You will work with new customers to understand their plans, onboard them, and develop an adoption roadmap that will enable them to accomplish their desired fundraising and investor relation outcomes. This also includes ensuring your customers get the most value out of Vestlane products, understanding how to translate regulatory requirements into software, and managing customer needs successfully.Using your experience, you will collaborate with the founders and the tech as well as sales team.
What will keep you challenged?- Being ahead of current regulations and law in the private market sector
- Manage new customers through the onboarding process and help existing customers onboarding new modules and features, including effectively managing escalations
- Focus on retention and growth of Vestlane customers
- Build deep relationships with decision-makers within private equity and venture capital funds to enable them to be Vestlane advocates
- Participate in product development and manage the translation of law into software
- Participate in customer issues and manage resolution for funds and their investors
- Monitor and influence product usage, customer engagement, and satisfaction feedback
- Proactively identify areas where customers can further engage with the Vestlane product
- 3+ years of experience in a customer success & B2B account support role, with a track record that demonstrates an understanding of the techniques and methods of managing sophisticated business clients.
- Practical professional or project experience with a technical focus on law and regulation, ideally in the financial sector with reference to the digital economy or in innovation areas
- Practical knowledge of financial services law, specifically experience in KYC & AML remediation is a big plus
- A degree with a legal orientation is a plus
- Proven ability to build and manage customer account relationships in an existing or new sales role
- Initial responsibility as (partial) project manager for complex projects
- Ability to learn fast in multiple functional areas of business – legal, operations, finance, sales, or marketing.
- Fluent in English and German
