YOUR ROLE Define and execute the global technology strategy & roadmap for our adhesive and coatings business, translating future market trends into innovation, sustainability, cost, manufacturing, procurement, and supply needs Support global business cases for innovations, manufacturing footprint optimizations, capacity expansions and supplier strategy Define and create alignment on key strategic initiatives across functions, cross-leveraging and steering execution of identified opportunities Provide market and commercial direction through drivers and demand into supply chain network design, innovation roadmap and purchasing strategy Optimize product profitability and cost-of-goods projects on a global level in alignment with Product Management Establish technology assessments and definition providing global guidance & assignment Support developments of process, tools and frameworks for the overarching organization YOUR SKILLS Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemical, Business or other relevant field Minimum 10+ years’ experience in international industrial business including proven strategic thinking, complex problem-solving and end-to-end ownership Stakeholder management - ability to persuasively and diplomatically communicate and influence across all levels of the enterprise up to and including the Adhesive Executive Committee and with external partners at all levels Strong technical knowledge combined strategic thinking Experience within Automotive sector preferred Data analysis to draw conclusions, proficient in Excel, experience with Power-bi preferred Willingness to travel up to 20% in Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific Fluent English language skills At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
