Position

In Diagnostics Supply Chain, we ensure that our complex portfolio of diagnostics products is delivered to our customers efficiently, on time and complete - we provide patients with answers. In doing so, we collaborate closely in our network of sales affiliates, production sites and business areas.

In the Commercial Supply Chain function, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to this. In the Consulting and Implementation Services department, you will establish and maintain close cooperation between the Global Supply Chain function and the local affiliates in Roche Diagnostics.

Characterized by foresight and a customer-centric approach, you will make a significant contribution to an efficient, agile and sustainable Supply Chain that can meet the current and future challenges of our dynamic industry.

Your impact

In your role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Planning, managing and executing complex, cross-functional projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency in the Diagnostics Supply Chain
  • Regular project reporting, including monitoring and reporting on project status including updates and preparing decisions for relevant committees
  • Managing and actively supporting the implementation of global solutions & processes in the affiliates
  • Consulting affiliates (especially local Supply Chain managers) on continuous improvement opportunities and actively supporting affiliates in their implementation activities
  • Identification, evaluation and prioritization of local improvement needs
  • You will also be responsible for onboarding and training local Supply Chain managers and their teams, including raising awareness for Supply Chain compliance standards

Who you are

You have the following qualifications for this exciting role:

  • You have a university degree in business administration or business informatics and ideally several years of experience in logistics or Supply Chain as well as knowledge of process and quality management
  • Proven experience in implementing third-party warehousing and transportation projects compliant with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry standards, including cGMP, GDP, and cold chain logistics.
  • Project management skills: Experience in managing and implementing Supply Chain projects. Knowledge of common project management methods and tools. Furthermore, experience in identifying and managing Supply Chain risks and implementing risk mitigation actions.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication with various stakeholders at different levels. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Change management: Experience in change management in the context of Supply Chain projects. Ability to lead teams through change and overcome resistance.
  • Team leadership: Experience in leading interdisciplinary project teams. Promotion of a cooperative and efficient team culture.
  • Problem-solving skills: Experience in applying systematic approaches to identify and overcome challenges.
  • Customer centricity: Strong understanding of customer needs and expectations. Established practice of using customer feedback to implement continuous improvements in the Supply Chain.
  • APICS CSCP, CLTD certification is considered as a plus
