We are looking for an Intern in ARC Advisory Services (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Your Team

Our ARC Advisory Service (AAS) team develops and provides Allianz Commercial risk consulting services through a global network of Risk Consultants, Underwriting, Global Distribution and Sustainability experts. These services leverage growth opportunities in emerging risk areas by enhancing technical risk expertise and leading product development and client services.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Head of Global ARC Advisory Services, you will support projects and activities with a special focus on client services. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advisory services, develop valuable industry insights, and contribute to impactful projects within the team.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Gather and analyze information on clients, competitors, and industry trends to support the execution of project targets.
• Work closely with team members to contribute to the overall success of projects. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and provide input and ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Support and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that project scope and steps, including climate resilience and client training, are aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Collect and analyze data related to climate risks and resilience measures, assisting the project team in assessing the effectiveness of different strategies and identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist in evaluating the impact and effectiveness of projects by collecting feedback from insured clients and stakeholders, and providing recommendations for future improvements.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in engineering, natural science, or finance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources.
• Basic understanding of risk assessment, analysis, and applying customer-focused principles from an IT perspective
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment with strong intercultural skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with good presentation abilities in English.
• Proficiency in Office suite software, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Further Information:

• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)
• Working hours: 38 hours/week as an intern, or 20 hours a week as a working stduent
• Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
