Tasks

• DevOps in a Cloud environment
• Automate infrastructure creation in a secure way
• Automate tests and CI/CD pipelines with tests
• Automate security tests and audits

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and rollback processes.
• Collaborate with development teams on system architecture and infrastructure design.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor system performance and improve monitoring and alerting.
• Implement security controls and conduct audits.
• Respond to incidents as part of the on-call team and perform root cause analysis.
• Mentor and coach in DevOps and security
• Keep track and improve on KPIs.

Requirements

• AWS (especially VPN, Aurora, API Gateway, Lambda, App Runner, Glue, S3, Athena, Quicksight, Sagemaker, ECS)
• Cloud security (OWASP)
• Git and GitHub Actions
• Terraform
• verbal and written communication skills in English

• Experience with Azure, Heroku, Vercel and Cloudflare
• Experience with Typescript and shell scripting
• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools (Jest or similar)
• End-to-end test (Cypress) automation
• Load testing (JMeter or similar)
• Agile and SCRUM process management methodology
• Good time management and organizational skill
• verbal and written communication skills in German
