As a Trainee of Digital Supply Chain Pioneering at Mercedes-Benz, you will be at the forefront of transforming our logistics and supply chain processes through digital innovation.
Your mission will involve driving the digitalization of logistics operations across our advanced production facilities, including the assembly lines in Sindelfingen, the production operations in Rastatt and the sophisticated body manufacturing sector.
You will lead the digital transformation of supply chain processes, ensuring the seamless and efficient flow of materials and information across all stages of production.You will spearhead initiatives to integrate digital tools and technologies that enhance supply chain visibility, optimize inventory management, and improve logistics performance.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you implement digital solutions that align with our strategic goals of efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
You will lead projects that shape the future of our supply chain, guiding them from the initial planning stages to execution and ongoing improvement, with clear KPIs to measure success.
Your role will be to integrate new digital processes and systems into existing operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting our commitment to "Operational Excellence." This position is crucial in optimizing the entire supply chain, from raw materials to final product delivery, helping Mercedes-Benz maintain a strong position in logistics innovation.
Qualifications- An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or Business Informatics, Data Science, Industrial Management, Engineering with a focus on Production Technology, Automation Technology or a comparable course of study
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
- Social commitment is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English; very good German language skills
- You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility.
- You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills.
- You are a team player and can motivate others.
