We are the center of competence for ISR and air defence, battle management and real-time command and control. In our department, we develop and maintain system engineering services and modeling and simulation solutions for integration support, as well as for the training of C4ISR and radar operators.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Airbus Defence and Space in Ulm is seeking to enhance its product presentation capabilities through the utilization of augmented reality (AR) technologies. This will be based on a Meta Quest 3, which is a virtual reality headset with extensive augmented reality capabilities.The objective is to create a demonstrator in which the user can see both the real-world elements, such as people, monitors, keyboards, and so forth, as well as additional simulated elements. For instance, a shelter or the interior of an airplane could be included.
This will allow users to see and interact with our products in a simulated environment.- Building the demonstrator in a Game Engine (Unreal or Unity)
- Enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) within Game Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a similar field of study
- Experience with a game engine (Unity, Unreal, Unigine, Godot, …) required
- Machine Learning knowledge desired
- Experience with AR/VR required
- C# or C++ required
- Fluid English required
- Fluid German desired
