MSLs build and develop enduring 'win-win' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. MSLs provide field or hybrid medical support that is aligned and integrated to the overall medical strategy within the BU.
We are looking for a MSL in the region of NRW.
Main responsibilities:
- Engages with healthcare professionals and institutions: Facilitates scientific information exchange through one-to-one interactions and group settings.
- Organizes and engages KOLs & HCPs: Conducts local group scientific meetings, such as hospital staff meetings and webinars, in line with the Stakeholder Engagement plan and Country Medical plan.
- Develops and maintains trusted partnerships: Builds strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions through ongoing scientific engagement and exchange.
- Communicates clinical value: Articulates the benefits of therapeutic area products to population-health/formulary decision makers, including outcomes liaisons.
- Provides high-quality information: Delivers accurate, balanced information to key customers and stakeholders, supports investigators in Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR) submissions, and manages local advisory boards.
- Collaborates and contributes to evidence generation: Works with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company, industry, legal, and regulatory requirements, and supports both internal evidence-generation projects and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS).
- Education: University degree in Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, or a postgraduate scientific degree with PhD.
- Professional experience in a (field-based) medical role, e.g., as an MSL, Medical Advisor, or medical field representative.
- Development of stakeholder strategies and planning, KOL engagement; project management skills and experience
- Ability to effectively engage in scientific exchange with specialists and physicians.
- Strong medical understanding and interest in vaccines
- Use of CRM tools, efficient utilization of various channels and formats for scientific exchange to maximize stakeholder satisfaction and impact.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, building interpersonal relationships, ability to collaborate across functions, and agility in learning.
- Native-level German required, intermediate level of business English in both spoken and written form.
- Willingness to travel in NRW, valid driving licence
