As a Corporate SUSTAINABILITY CONTROLLING & DIGITALIZATION MANAGER you will play a key role in integrating sustainability initiatives with state-of-the-art digital solutions. In this position you will be responsible for the monitoring, controlling and reporting of our sustainability metrics, while leveraging digital tools and systems to optimize performance across sustainability-related processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and digitalization, with expertise in sustainability and the FMCG sector.

You will work in an international, dynamic Corporate Sustainability team with a collaborative ‘one-team’ mindset.

Your Tasks

Sustainability Controlling:

  • Develop and manage internal sustainability reporting frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure data collection, analysis and reporting of sustainability metrics related to e.g. carbon footprint, packaging and ingredient changes
  • Coordinate sustainability non-financial/financial forecasting, planning and reporting processes across functions, consolidate results and present the outcome to key stakeholders
  • Conduct financial and non-financial sustainability assessments to guide strategic decision-making

Sustainability Digitalization:

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of digital tools and systems for tracking, analyzing and improving sustainability performance
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to develop integrated digital solutions for sustainability initiatives
  • Introduce advanced data analytics and automation for enhanced reporting and operational efficiency
  • Initiate continuous business improvements by identifying suitable innovative digital solutions for sustainability requirements

Cross-department collaboration:

  • Partner with multiple departments (e.g., Finance, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Marketing) to embed sustainability objectives into business strategies
  • Enable alignment between sustainability targets and business operations
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability or any related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling / digitalization, ideally in in FMCG sector
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data analytics software, SAP and MS office
  • Passionate about sustainability, finance and digital transformation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player who takes initiative and seeks out solutions
  • Strong desire to learn, shape new developments and drive meaningful change
