• Developing new business opportunities adjacent to SCHOTT´s existing business
• Identification of strategic search fields for new SCHOTT business opportunities, and analysis of potential markets and applications

• Excellent honors degree in business managementsciencematerials or business administration and engineering, preferably with PhD, alternatively University degree in a technicalnatural science field with a doctorate and additional business training with proven business track record
• Strong business acumen paired with deep technological understanding
• Several years of international experience in businessnew business development department of a technology company or renowned business consultancy firm with strong technological focus
• Experience in Semiconductor andor Microelectronic, materials and value chains
• Excellent capability of translating technology into business
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Entrepreneurial approach with strong commitment to teamwork
• Comprehensive experience in the compilation, evaluation and interpretation of market analyses
• Experience in the monitoring of marketscompetitors and identification of necessary actions
• Knowledge of the technological trends in markets that are relevant to SCHOTT and identification of innovative product ideas and business areas
• Proven track record of successful cooperation in international projects as a member of a cross-functional teams, ideally project management experience
• Fluent business English (written and spoken), knowledge of other languages and willingness to travel abroad
