Quality System Engineer (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

We are looking for a Quality System Engineer who will be a part of Quality Management System team to challenge the status quo using fundamental engineering principals and develop process which enable us to deliver the most precise cars.

• Translate business needs into effective and understandable process, methods and tools for Berlin plant
• Findings gaps in the way the quality and operations teams are working and then developing and deploying effective solutions to make our teams even more powerful
• Challenging existing processes, systems and business documentation to improve local and global processes
• Design, deploy and improve Quality Management System in Berlin and beyond
• Provide subject matter expertise and train whole plant within Quality Management core tools and other related methods
• Leading and monitor multiple cross function projects to ensure the best practices are known and used
• Perform and participate in internal system and process auditing to improve processes and product
• Knowledge and experience in operations from high volume manufacturing sector (preferably 2 year experience)
• Firm understanding how complex production plant and lines operate including effective collaboration between all functions
• Strong interpersonal skills dealing with and train all levels of an organization. Able to communicate to senior and executive level leadership effectively and confidently.
• Has experience leading a program or project to completion
• Ability to write clear, meaningful and user-friendly process documentation
• Comfortable working with data and be able to interpret results and drive actions (any experience in programming languages is a plus)
• Fundamental understanding and ability to apply the Quality Management core tools and other methods (8D, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP)
• Internal system and process auditor practice (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3)
• Well versed with common workplace systems like Confluence, JIRA, MS Office
• Ability to learn and adapt in fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred
