Currently, we are looking to expand our service team in Dresden, Germany, and are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join us on a full-time basis and onsite.
Job Description
The Linux System Administrator will join our dedicated service team, providing essential IT support. Our team specializes in delivering reliable assistance and services in networking, security, storage, and Linux-based infrastructure.
In collaboration with colleagues, the Linux System Administrator will have the opportunity to contribute to various tasks based on their background and skill level. These include designing and configuring networks, implementing firewall and security solutions, working with scale-out storage, and offering support in virtualized environments (VMWare and Docker).Additionally, responsibilities encompass archiving and backup, identity management (IdM), and automated configuration and update management (Ansible).
Considering the diverse skill set within our team, we welcome applicants from different IT backgrounds in system and network administration. Its not expected that candidates already have experience with all the listed technologies or be responsible for all of them upon hiring.
Due to our clientele being multinational, we provide support in both English and German.
Your Responsibilities
The team handles a diverse set of technology and candidates will be expected to contribute to the following tasks, depending on skills and experience.- Design, implement, and support networking solutions, primarily with HP / Aruba technology
- Support and implement monitoring and security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection
