Responsibilities:

• Coordination and Execution of the Purchasing Activities in the Category "Merchandise"
• Coordination of Purchasing tasks between functional departments and supplier
• Execution of sourcing related tasks e.g. demand definition, RFx, supplier selection etc.
• Alignment with Corporate Purchasing

Strategic Tasks:

• Supplier market research worldwide in alignment with Corporate Purchasing

Projects:

• Coordinate and leading projects for merchandising products defined by client and developed with suppliers
• Communication and alignment with functional departments within the company as well as with Corporate Purchasing

Anforderungsprofil

Qualification:

• Academic background (Business Administration, Engineering or related fields)
• Several years of professional experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Management Experience: Initial experience in disciplinary management or extensive experience in the technical management of cross-divisional projects
• Knowledge of operational and strategic Purchasing of (technical) merchandising products. Purchasing strategy, processes, and organization
• Analytical and conceptual skills
• Technical expertise to communicate with suppliers regarding technical aspects at eye level
• Excellent communication skills across different organizational levels
• High social competence and empathy, with the ability to convince and engage stakeholders
