For our Latex Binders R&D Center of Excellence in Rheinmünster, Germany close to Strasbourg and Karlsruhe we are looking for a
Master Student for 6 months internship (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Make formulations and prepare final prototypes to be tested.
- Test and characterize prototypes. Interpret results within project(s) related to the Adhesives & Sealants field and build relationships between application performances and Trinseo polymer properties.
- Development and implementation of applications tests, if needed for the subject.
- Learning of the lab specific safety procedures, analytical methods and laboratory operating procedures.
- Be part of the lab team and participate to the weekly lab operations.
- Project presentation to the global application R&D team at the end of the internship and complete a report in English.
Qualifications:
- Master student in Chemistry, Formulation, Materials Science or related field.
- Strong interest in working within Adhesives & Sealants application laboratory. Passion and curiosity for formulation, testing and chemistry.
- Initiative and autonomy in carrying out the formulations and tests.
- Good communication and interpersonal team skills.
- Good working knowledge of English. German is not required.
- Good computing skills (Windows / Microsoft Office package).
