Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.
Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
Our "Technology & Innovation" department is looking for an intern in the area of technology intelligence and innovation management. The team works on continuously identifying & evaluating technology developments and their impact on the CARIAD technology stack as well as the overall technology strategy.These insights are then applied among others to define the Innovation & Predevelopment strategy and portfolio, which is being managed by our team. We are a team of curious people with a strong future mindset - embedded into a worldwide network of the VW Group, start-up ecosystem and independent research institutes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Strengthen & enhance our decentralized innovation management and its corresponding processes
- Identify and analyze future technologies, potential features and market developments with the help of our digital platform and input from technical experts & partners
- Explore, test and implement the possibilities of artificial intelligence to improve our innovation & intelligence activities through pilot projects
- Derive potential implications by screening & scouting in the tech industry and market activities for the strategy, innovation and the technology stack of CARIAD
- Continuously improve our state of the art digital innovation & technology management platform
- Collaborate with other departments on innovation & strategy projects by presenting the results into the organization
- Very good academic grades
- Enrolled student in a technical or business degree (ideally master's program) with a focus on Innovation, Technology Management, Digitalization, Business Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
- Familiarity with innovation management, strategy development, technology scouting, competitor analysis or similar fields
- First experiences in utilization or adopting of AI models, tools & platforms would be preferred
- Internship or working student experience in the tech, software, consulting or automotive industry would be an advantage
- Fluent in English & German
- Organized, proactive and independent way work of working
