The Inside Sales Representative supports the Sales team performance during the entire lead and opportunity cycle. The Inside Sales Representative is the primarily responsible for supporting the Area Sales Managers, cold calling, up and cross-selling, supporting end users and partners, providing templates and guidelines for sales meetings and business planning.

The Inside Sales Representative supports the Inside Sales Manager in the day to day to business such as reporting, data analysis and meeting preparations. The Inside Sales Representative will facilitate effective, professional working relationships with teams across the business, such as sales regions, marketing, channel & product.

Tasks
  • Generate incremental revenue through activities (inbound and outbound calling and emailing), leads passed, and opportunity management for Central Europe Market
  • Regional support to Area Sales Managers.
  • Ensure data quality in Salesforce.com and Cognos
  • Follows outlined processes and systems for Lead & Pipeline Management in CRM-Software Salesforce.com
  • Assists on special projects as required.
  • Participate collaboratively with the Promethean regional teams focusing on customer service and dedication to a defined, strategic sales process.
  • Support customer meetings/presentations including cold calling
  • Support Sales Team in the administration of Promethean Partners in daily business (e.g. submitting requested information, forwarding of leads and requests, first product mentorship/consultation – for instance: which products to offer in which projects)
  • Responsible for accurate Information Management (e.g. forwarding requests from address, sharing sales relevant content with sales team such as “tender descriptions”)
Requirements
  • Primary language German with good written and spoken English
  • Previous experience in a similar role. Highly organized, with the ability to multitask
  • This is a highly collaborative position, so teamwork and communication skills are vital
  • Vocational education or at least a few years’ experience in Inside Sales
  • Ability to manage your time and prioritize a fast paced workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to drive creative and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Knowledge about CRM-Software preferable Salesforce.com
  • MS-Office knowledge
  • Cognos experienced a plus
  • Basic Technical understanding
