• Gather primary and secondary competitive information through our sales network, specialized databases, internet, social media, industry fairs, seminars, etc.
• Monitor competitors’ product offerings, pricing, marketing strategies, financial performance, and other relevant aspects.
• Set up and maintain a competitive intelligence database, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Utilize various tools and platforms to gather and manage data.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations on competitive intelligence findings.
• Work closely with Product Management, New Business Development, Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment and integration of competitive intelligence insights into business strategies.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices in competitive intelligence and apply them to enhance the company’s Competitive Intelligence processes and methodologies.

• Degree in bioengineering or food sciences, with an interest in IT systems and commercial business.
• Prior experience in the food or specialty food ingredients industry and competitive intelligence is a clear plus.
• Solid understanding of food ingredients, or a demonstrated willingness and ability to quickly gain knowledge in this area.
• Background in data analysis, with a proven ability to extract, organize, and interpret complex data.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly MS Access and MS Power BI to data-mine, structure and visualize information.
• Strong communicator, to translate data into actionable insights and to spread intelligence throughout the organisation.
• Very good knowledge of English. Any of the other languages spoken in our multinational organization (French, Spanish, German, Mandarin Chinese) is a plus.
