Requirements
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Exposure to Customs, import/export compliance
  • Industry experience is a plus

Position is 30-40 hours a week and will be onsite. Must reside in commuting distance to the workplace

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting, administrative and operations activities.
  • Lead office duties which include meeting planning & scheduling, reception, facilities maintenance, IT Infrastructure, supply management, various administrative support.
  • Ensure accurate and complete accounting records including processing all payments
  • Maintaining records in DATEV including uploading and matching A/P Information weekly
  • Record all transactions in the ERP system.
  • Follow company policies & procedures while ensuring efficiency of office operations.
  • Payroll liaison with outside accounting firm.
  • Manage vendors and service providers, coordinate with corporate legal on all new contracts.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Develop a trusted relationship with partners and customers to assist with the collection of payments and management of demos and loaners.
  • Work with the EMEA Director on special events and trade shows.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of overall office, supplies, records and files.
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing team for trade show layouts and branded give aways.
  • Assist with presentation planning, research, data analysis and preparation (e.g. Power Point slides, flow charts).
  • Work with customs on imports and exports.
  • Prepare appropriate documents with territory managers when traveling in other countries.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts.
  • And other duties as needed.
Potential additions:
  • Assist with SRO creation and management.
  • Coordinate ordering spare parts and shipments between US and Germany.
  • Coordinate with corporate accounting team.
  • Report PTO and fringe benefits to be included in payroll.
