Key Account Manager

Our Key Account Manager Team plays a major strategic role by implementing sales strategies that lead to high customer satisfaction. As Key Account Manager you are the key contact point for our clients and prospects, reporting to the Director of Sales.
Tasks
We are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager in charge of managing a diverse key account portfolio, maintaining trustful relationships and encouraging the development of new key accounts which will be the main part of his/her activity.
Your missions will include the following:
- Sustain, strengthen and broaden relationships with existing clients
- Drive client retention, fee renewals, and client satisfaction
- Attain sales objectives in a context of increased competition
- Assist in developing new customer areas in the energy industry including new services
- Identify new opportunities in our competitive market
- Work in close collaboration with the marketing team to align goals and achieve business objectives and liaise with several departments to ensure customers derive maximum value from our services
- Support and contribute to internal projects, especially with our partner European Commodity Clearing (ECC), to improve customer needs and to ensure the delivery of high quality products and services
- Manage the onboarding process for new members
- Help organize and participate in customer eventsPrepare and deliver effective client presentations
Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES- You are a customer and result-oriented individual who is motivated by challenging sales targets,
- You are an excellent communicator with a strong ability in conducting meetings in a persuasive manner,
- You are self-motivated and demonstrate strong work principles,
- You have unique entrepreneurial and organizational skills,
- You like to develop strong and respectful relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders,
- You have experience in customer relations and time management,
- You have good knowledge of European power markets and can bring other valuable sales practices,
- You have an ability to work on multiple projects which will include effective prioritization and cross-team collaboration.
- You are a team-player who can also work independently
- Master’s degree in economics or customer relations, or business school or equivalent
- Fluent in English and in German; other languages would be appreciated
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in key account management within a competitive multi-cultural environment
- If you have more than 5 years of experience in key account management, we could discuss about a Senior Key Account Manager job title.
- According to the candidate’s experience and profile
- Location: no specific restriction among EPEX locations; you will be expected to take business trips all over Europe
