As a Technical Internal Sales Representative (m/f/d) for the Drives & Motors project business, you will work on varied tasks in an international environment with a focus on our customers and personal contact in a motivated team.   • Establishing, expanding and maintaining customer relationships and identifying the needs of potential customers
  • Extensive and technically detailed advice and long-term support for our customers
  • Checking customer specifications for technical feasibility, converting them into inquiries to internal plants and external sub-suppliers
  • Clarifying deviations between specifications and quotation with the customer and suppliers and documenting them in the quotation
  • Technical design of the motors & frequency inverter solutions in collaboration with the suppliers
  • Preparation of technically and commercially fully specified quotations in German and English
  • Offer tracking with lost order analysis
  • Development of rationalization potentials in the processing of offers
  • Conducting technical and commercial contract award negotiations with external customers together with the sales manager or field service, if necessary with the support of the commercial sales department
  • Ensuring a smooth project handover to project management by starting the project with order notification, order calculation and preparation of order documents for the supplier plants
Qualifications for the role
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or
  • comparable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Sales knowledge is desirable
  • Initial work experience is an advantage
  • Technical knowledge in the field of motors, converters and transformers desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • 10-20% willingness to travel mainly nationally to customers and factory acceptance tests
