About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Client Director to help drive our distribution activities within the German Wholesale and Retail client segment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing our client relationships in Germany, identifying growth opportunities, and positioning the firm as a trusted partner in a dynamic investment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop relationships with clients in Germany, including banks, wealth managers, unit-linked partners, platforms and IFAs
  2. Identify and develop business opportunities and investment trends in the German Retail market.
  3. Maintain and develop relationships to existing clients, as well as relevant prospects
  4. Travel regularly to meet existing clients and prospects to identify opportunities and positively represent the firm
  5. Work closely with internal teams in order to organize client events and webinars
  6. Collaborate with local and international sales colleagues to provide market intelligence and feedback
  7. Gather and maintain excellent product knowledge of a broad range of relevant products
Your Profile
  1. A university diploma
  2. Strong sales experience in the asset management industry with a proven track record in the German Wholesale and Retail Market. Ideally with a focus on the coverage of regional as well as savings/ cooperative banks in Germany.
  3. A deep understanding of German retail client needs and requirements
  4. Excellent understanding of investment products, across public & private Markets (ELTIF) and active ETFs
  5. Strong interest in the current economic environment and new investment themes
  6. Experience in collaborating and engaging with portfolio managers, economists and investment directors
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record at client events & conferences
  8. High willingness to travel across Germany
  9. Entrepreneurial thinking and high level of initiative and ability to work independently
  10. Ability to think strategically and engage with clients on a solution-driven sales approach to ensure long-term commercial success
  11. Very good command of German and English
