The Senior Manager FP&A is responsible for analyzing financial data, consolidating and creating monthly outlooks and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.This role is essential in overseeing and coordinating monthly outlooks, the annual budgeting and the five-year Strategic Plan process. The Senior Manager FP&A interacts regularly with the regional business group finance teams to consolidate key financial data and conduct variance analysis to identify main drivers.
The incumbent assist in the preparation of financial and operational reports to support Clarios General Management. The role will be based in our Clarios EMEA headquarters office in Hanover, Germany.
Key Responsibilities: What you will do- Financial Forecasting and Planning
- Support the Finance Organization by coordinating strategic planning, annual profit planning and monthly outlook process
- Collaborate with finance business group leaders to understand and incorporate their needs into the budget and outlook models
- Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting
- Take full responsibility for the timely and accurate consolidation and reporting of financial results based on internal policies and procedures
- Interface with Global FP&A team regarding all questions around month end reporting
- Financial Analysis and Modeling
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting
- Automate and streamline budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes
- Drive the adoption of advanced financial planning and reporting tools/software
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field with business masters preferred
- Solid years of progressive finance/accounting experience at some public accounting or a large multi-national company preferred
- Excellent English language skills
- Experienced with One Stream, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and Data Visualization tools like e.g. Power BI is preferred
- Certified Public Accountant and/or MBA preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- Research capabilities and overall business acumen required
- Enable teamwork and involvement
- Solid project management and business consultant skills
