Product Manager (m/w/d)
The role of the product owner is to capture customer requirements and make them available to internal and external users. Associated tasks include the creation of precise product requirements, including tasks to be performed, flowcharts, features and stories that can be efficiently translated into deliverables by the technical teams.The role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, including R&D, software development, manufacturing, maintenance and continuous performance improvement.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the product backlog and its management through continuous prioritization, ordering and definition of features and stories to ensure timely and effective releases that meet the definition “done”.
- Collaborate and coordinate between operations and product teams in defining major and minor releases, customer corrections, new product launches and multi-year development of hardware and software solutions to increase market presence.
- Communicates with customers and stakeholders to identify and define personas, user tasks, key issues to be solved and product feedback.
- Translates tasks into clearly defined and actionable user stories.
- Ensures prioritization aligns with validated customer issues/needs and greatest impact on revenue and margin.
- Leads a cross-functional team across multiple locations to bring products and features to market.
- Works closely with engineering to facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, conduct acceptance testing, perform design reviews and make decisions.
- University degree and five years of relevant work experience
- Very good command of written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Very good understanding of technology and architecture and its impact on the solution delivered to the customer, cost (hardware/software) and product release risks (including performance specifications).
- Experience with the hardware and software development lifecycle and product design.
- Experience with continuous delivery of features in hardware and software solutions.
- Experience with product management and product development software.
- Experience in developing data and analytics-driven solutions.
