Your Tasks

You collaborate within:

  • Product creation together with our international teams members from Marketing, Research & Development and Supply Chain
  • Development of sustainable materials and optimization of our packaging technologies e.g. plastics, metal and paper as well as our innovative applications systems
  • Achieving our sustainable targets like weight reduction and reuse of materials
  • Get in touch with our international network e.g. our suppliers

The internship is located in our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Right from the start you have the opportunity to work on with experienced and dedicated project managers and technical experts on challenging packaging development

projects. As part of this job, you will be responsible for your ownprojects and you will support our packaging development team with:

  • Technical consulting of marketing functions and design agencies
  • Development of packaging ideas and concepts
  • Coordination and timing of development projects (project management)
  • Implementation of packaging ideas with Beiersdorf packaging suppliers
  • Technical coordination of packaging ideas with Beiersdorf production center across the world
  • Securing the packaging functionality for consumers
  • Assuring the integration of the supply chain
Your Profile
  • Student of Packaging technology or mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, production engineering, production management or industrial engineering with concentration in packaging technology
  • Enrolled during the whole internship (bachelor or master studies) respectively internship after bachelor studies in preparation of master studies (internship needs to be completed within the gap year)
  • Some semester successfully completed or an excellent intermediate diploma
  • Fluent German or English (written and spoken)
  • MS Office
  • Knowledge in SAP will be a plus
