Are you an experienced Building Automation Engineer with experience of supporting CAPEX projects?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Building Automation Engineer to join our growing team. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The projects will include a diverse mix of projects in the Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors across the DACH region.

  • Your role:
  • BMS/EMS Design as part of a multi discipline projects team throughout all project phases
  • Generate detailed scope of work packages for BMS contractor for tender / procurement process
  • Specification and procurement of BMS System Components
  • Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
  • Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and/or project participants
  • Develop I/O lists, HVAC and Utility Sequence of Operations documents, BMS System Architecture & Topography, Software & Hardware specifications
  • Instrumentation design
  • Prepare and execute FAT/SAT documentation
  • Support commissioning activities such as SATs, Installation Verification, Operational Verification, writing of SOPs for the BMS
  • Undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are required to provide cost effective solutions for our clients
  • Project Management and control of BMS Project scope including cost estimates and reporting
  • Support Constructability and Safety reviews
  • Support the site CM team during construction with RFI clarifications (SDC)
  • Review project scope, budget and schedule
  • Manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
  • - Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline along with 5+ years’ experience in BMS Construction/Engineering environments ideally within the Life Sciences and/or Mission Critical sectors.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a +
  • Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility is of advantage
  • Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, codes of practice and check of compliance with client specifications and local norms and standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, taking the initiative with assigned tasks and objectives
  • MS Office incl. Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects and advanced excel and access skills
  • Professional working proficiency in English and German
  • A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and environmental protection
