The Opportunity

As a Business Process Automation (BPA) Sales Specialist, you will drive the growth of our BPA suite, including Pega, Camunda, and Appian digital automation platforms, across various industries. This role involves leveraging your extensive knowledge in CRM and BPM technologies to deliver transformative solutions that enhance business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs for our clients.Enterprise Integration platforms including Boomi, Apigee (Google), Kong, Azure, AWS, Mule Soft, Snap Logic and others are also an essential layer to orchestrate the different business capabilities into a fully connected and controlled manner.

Your Key Result Areas
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the use of Cognizant’s BPA suite within assigned territories or industries.
- Engage with senior business and IT leaders to understand their business processes and propose tailored BPA solutions that meet their strategic objectives.
- Demonstrate deep product expertise in Pega, Camunda, Appian and a suite of integration technologies to effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our solutions.
- Collaborate with Cognizant’s cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and consistent sales strategy.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, including negotiation and contract signing.
- Provide insights into market trends and customer feedback to guide continuous improvement of our BPA offerings.
- Achieve annual revenue and total contract value targets.
- Develop strong, long-term executive relationships.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably with a background in selling CRM and BPM solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital process automation, workflow management, and enterprise application platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to solve complex business challenges through innovative digital solutions.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree with several years of experience in Sales and Business Development.
- Experience selling into the digital ecosystem market in Germany, knowledge of the industry trends, customer challenges, potential opportunities in various technology areas.
- Strong business and technical understanding and experience in selling modern Enterprise Integration solutions and platforms. Added knowledge of platforms such as Pega, Appian, Camunda, will be a plus.
- Ability to find digital solutions to business problems and engage the potential customer with "consultative selling" is essential.
- Experience in the German market in a similar role.
