YOUR TEAM
It is our mission at the CARIAD ADAS & AD team to develop one unified technology stack in-house that brings Level 4 automated driving and parking to private cars and at the same time scales down to supply important NCAP safety functionalities to the entire VW fleet - making mobility safer and creating a new level of driving comfort.

As a system development engineer, you will take responsibility for series development in one of the following areas: customer functions for automated / assisted driving, predictive safety and parking, sensor data fusion, video perception, cloud services, localization, driver interaction and hardware.#NextGenDriverAssistance
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Translate the customer function definition into system and component specification
- Take responsibility for the technical concept and system design
- Realization of traceability of the requirements from functional specification to the software implementation (Automotive SPICE)
- Coordination of the relevant systems and components to implement your features and specified requirements
- Forward-looking analysis of relevant technology trends, their underlying technology and concepts
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or a comparable course of study
- Several years of professional experience in systems engineering (ADAS/AD as a plus)
- Expertise of functional safety according to ISO 26262 and security according to ISO 21434
- Experience in series development and the corresponding processes and standards (e.g. ISO 29119, ASPICE)
- Fluent German and English language skills (verbal & written)
