If you answered yes to the question, we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a System Engineer. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to contribute to critical Earth observation programs, including Metop Second Generation (Metop-SG), Jason-CS, new altimetry systems, and Copernicus missions like CRISTAL and CIMR.

Security:

In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

What you´ll do
  • Contribute to system design, interface maintenance, and documentation for satellite altimetry missions
  • Develop and analyze system requirements for next-generation altimetry systems
  • Support integration, verification, and validation activities for satellite ground segments
  • Assist in operations preparation and technical coordination with international partners
  • Contribute to system level documentation and reviews
  • Participate in the development of operations concepts and ground system requirements
What we are looking for
  • A degree in Aerospace engineering, Physics or in a similar subject
  • Strong experience in systems engineering, preferably in space or Earth observation domains
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, including requirements engineering and architectural design
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect)
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
  • Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
  • Experience with LEO satellites
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
  • The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
  • Experience with altimetry missions or oceanographic applications
  • Knowledge of RF engineering and space-to-ground links
  • Familiarity with mission control systems or ground processors
  • Experience with CCSDS File Delivery Protocol
  • Understanding of configuration management processes
